St. Austin Catholic Parish Site Redevelopment

About the Project

The St. Austin Catholic Parish Site Redevelopment is a $159.5 million program developed by Greystar Development Central LLC and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Austin. This groundbreaking land-lease partnership is a long-term funding strategy for the parish, allowing the Diocese to rebuild their parish and school. Additionally, the program enables Greystar to develop a 29-story student housing tower on parish land. Together, the two projects create a 777,071 SF footprint. The Union on San Antonio, a new 29-story student housing building, includes approximately 423 units, 991 beds and a 418-car parking garage. This 640,071 SF high-rise tower features multiple amenities, including a lobby area, office spaces, multiple gymnasiums, a pool and building service functions. Meanwhile, the 75,316 SF parish building provides classrooms, a parish hall, administrative offices, meeting rooms, an exterior playground and a rooftop activity deck.
